Taylor Walker’s match-day report has been thrown out by the AFL Match Review Panel.
Walker was reported for striking following an incident with Carlton ruckman Cameron Wood in the first quarter of Adelaide’s nine-point win over the Blues at the MCG. However, on Monday the MRP deemed that the force used was below that required for a report and declared the star forward has no case to answer for.
The Crows captain is free to play in his team’s next match against Hawthorn on Thursday, June 18. The Club has a bye in the AFL this week. Adelaide’s SANFL team will also have a weekend off as part of the League’s split round. Players start leave on Wednesday and return to West Lakes on Sunday.
