Ricky Henderson won’t take his place in the Crows team to play Fremantle in the Indigenous Round clash at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
Henderson, who was a late withdrawal against Greater Western Sydney last weekend because of a back complaint, was named in the Adelaide team on Thursday night but failed to train on Friday and will miss another week with a sore back.
The wingman has been replaced in the side by emergency Brodie Martin, who will play his first game of the season against the unbeaten Dockers. See the full Crows team for Round Nine. Martin played 17 matches in a career-best season for Adelaide in 2014.
Untried ruckman Reilly O'Brien replaces Martin on the emergency list, which also includes defenders Kyle Hartigan and Harrison Wigg.
The AFL Team is:
IN: Brodie Martin (replaces Ricky Henderson in selected side)
OUT: Sam Kerridge (ankle)
