LAST WEEK’S NEWS
It was the show we all love to watch and Eddie Betts (FWD, $467,000) surely entertained with his six goals and 123pts as the Crows rocketed up inside the top four. Jake Kelly (DEF, $278,000) found the ball 22 times for his 96pts which saw him rise another $48,000. He is shaping up as one of the best cash cows for 2015 and still has a break even of only -13.
Patrick Dangerfield (MID, $452,000) and Scott Thompson (MID, $549,000) got the job done from the inside for the Crows and together found the ball nearly 60 times between them.
However, the 46-point win was soured by injuries, starting with the clash between Nick Riewoldt and our very own Brodie Smith (DEF, $382,000) who left the ground with just 8pts under his belt. Hopefully he and Riewoldt make a quick recovery and return next week. Sadly, the same can’t be said for Matthew Jaensch (DEF, $485,000) who will miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury. Jaensch has had an amazing year to date and will be sorely missed.

ON THE RADAR
Mitch Grigg (FWD/MID, $298,000) must come into consideration after he backed up his 83pts against the Suns two weeks ago with another fantastic 89pts. He’s still cheap and should be clocking up more points against the Giants this week and will now get more opportunities on the back of the injuries that are happening around him.
TOP 5 SCORERS
1 – 123 Eddie Betts (FWD, $467,000)
2 – 122 Patrick Dangerfield (MID, $452,000)
3 – 117 Scott Thompson (MID, $549,000)
4 – 112 Sam Jacobs (RUC, $529,000)
5 – 99 Rory Laird (FWD, $395,000)
WHAT’S COMING UP
This week, the Crows will meet the in-form Giants on their home turf. In his last three games against them, Dangerfield has scored 60 (affected by knee soreness), 149 and 141. He has averaged 110 over the last three weeks and should be too good again.
All the best for the round ahead. Go Crows!
