Adelaide has added the experience of nine-time SANFL premiership player Chris Gowans to its SANFL match day group.
Gowans, a close mate of Crows SANFL captain Ian Callinan, will be the team runner this year.
A two-time Jack Oatey Medallist, Chris joined Central District in 2000 as it started its run of 12 consecutive grand finals for nine wins.
He retired at the end of the 2012 season after 246 games.
And when Chris isn’t available, the Crows have the perfect back-up - his identical twin brother James, who also played in nine premierships with the Bulldogs among his 245 games.
