Tall forward Liam McBean is among several players Richmond could include ahead of Friday night's clash with Adelaide.
The third-year Tiger has bagged 14 goals in his past three weeks in the VFL, including a game-high five goals in Richmond's 39-point loss to Box Hill last Saturday.
McBean made his AFL debut in Round Seven this season against Collingwood. The 202cm, 93kg forward could be in line to play his first AFL game since Round Nine on Friday night against the Crows.
"McBean's goals and his involvements have been at AFL standard the last few weeks, which has been great," Richmond VFL coach Tim Clarke said after the 20-year-old's most recent performance.
Veteran Matt Thomas (35 possessions) and Matt McDonough (27 possessions) could bolster Richmond's midfield stocks after impressive performances for the VFL Tigers, with backman Matt Dea (28 possessions) also among the team's best.
Key defender David Astbury was used up forward as well as in his customary role in defence but is not expected to return to Richmond's senior team this weekend.
Ruckman Shaun Hampson could be recalled if he passes a fitness test later in the week on a troublesome ankle.
Midfielder Shane Edwards is likely to require another week on the sidelines with a lower leg injury.
