The Adelaide Football Club has donated over 1,000 items from the beautiful memorial to Phil Walsh to Adelaide's homeless and disadvantaged.
Over 20 boxes of scarves, beanies, clothing, footballs and soft toys were collected from outside the Club's administration building at West Lakes following the tremendous show of support in the wake of Walsh's tragic passing.
The Hutt Street Centre, The Smith Family, Streetlink Youth Health and a number of communities in the remote APY Lands received the unpersonalised items in the past week.
All personalised items, including cards, letters, and artwork are still being catalogued and a decision on their future is yet to be made.
The flowers have been mulched which will be used to assist in the plantation of a memorial tree at a later date.
