Does Crows captain Taylor Walker have the longest kick in the AFL?

‘Tex’ will put his skills to the test in the FOX FOOTY Longest Kick contest on Grand Final Day morning.

Featuring a host of current and former stars, the FOX FOOTY Longest Kick will be a showpiece event on Saturday as players battle it out in an attempt to kick 75 metres across Melbourne’s Yarra River.

Walker will be up against the likes of Dustin Fletcher, Travis Cloke, Tom Hawkins, Brendan Fevola and good mate and former Crow Bernie Vince for the title of longest kick.

The players are kicking for the chance to win $10,000, plus a hilarious trophy and the honour of being the inaugural FOX FOOTY Longest Kick winner. AFL greats Jason Dunstall, Danny Frawley, Alastair Lynch and Ben Dixon are hosting the event.

Fans in Melbourne are encouraged to head down to Birrarung Marr on the Yarra River's north bank to see their favourite players have a kick from 10:00am (AEST) on Saturday. The event will also be broadcast on FOX FOOTY.
