West Coast’s Matt Rosa could be in line for a senior recall for Saturday’s clash with the Crows following a dominant display in the WAFL.
Rosa, 28, collected 32 possessions for East Perth against Swan Districts last weekend, along with eight marks, six tackles and 10 inside 50ms.
Rosa sustained a corked thigh in the contest but is expected to take his part in main training later this week.
The 156-game Eagle has played just five matches this season, with his last AFL appearance coming in Round 12 against Richmond.
Fellow midfielders Brant Colledge and Kane Lucas also put their names forward for selection with impressive outings for the Royals.
Colledge gathered 28 disposals and five marks and also laid six tackles, while former Blue Lucas looked dangerous with 23 disposals, two goals and five inside 50ms.
Lucas has yet to represent his new club since crossing from Carlton at the end of 2014.
LeCras fined, but clear to play
Ruckman Scott Lycett returned to play his first match in a month and was mainly used up forward. Like Rosa, Lycett copped a minor corked thigh and is likely to require more time in the state league before returning to AFL duties.
Youngster Fraser McInnes could be a chance to confront the Crows if the Eagles aim to stretch Adelaide’s backline. The 196cm ruck/forward worked hard for 20 possessions and 29 hit-outs and could return for his first game since Round 10.
Tough utility Pat McGinnity is unavailable for selection and remains two weeks away from resuming from a fractured wrist.
