Crows member Harrison Bishop cheered home Fremantle last Sunday to win the 2016 Chemist Warehouse Crows Tipping competition.
The Dockers’ upset win gave Harrison his seventh win for the last minor round, enough to hold his lead and clinch the major prize, a ten-seat box at Adelaide Oval for Crows home games in the 2017 season.
Harrison, from South Brighton, finished with a score of 153, one clear of runner-up Hans Schuhmacher.
“There was a fair bit of pressure in the last couple of rounds, it was hard to enjoy the football,” Harrison said.
The last round didn’t start well for the winner, who had selected Adelaide to defeat West Coast and Carlton to beat Essendon.
“I had picked Fremantle before the round and I did think about changing it,” he said. “Lucky I didn’t!”
Hans will receive two tickets to the Crows Club Champion event for finishing runner-up.
David Polkinghorne finished third but took out the Pick 5 competition, winning a player-signed Crows guernsey.
The last weekly winner was Paul Blairs, who will receive a $50 CROWmania voucher.
