Rebounding defender Paul Seedsman has been given the green light to play in Saturday night’s clash with the Sydney Swans at Adelaide Oval.
Seedsman suffered a concussion while tackling Richmond’s Ben Lennon in last week's win over the Tigers at Etihad Stadium.
The former Magpie received the all clear from Crows medical staff on Friday to take his place against the top-of-the-table Swans on Saturday night.
“He’s been ticked off,” Crows assistant coach James Podsiadly said.
“He got through all his concussion testing from last week. We were pretty positive from Wednesday that he was going to play and he got through again today.
“We’ll go in as selected.”
Tom Lynch returns to Adelaide's team
The Swans are undefeated so far this season and hold a strong recent record against the Crows. Sydney has won its past four matches against Adelaide, including the last three victories by an average of 64 points.
"They have had the wood on us and the average losing margin is pretty high over the last two or three years," Podsiadly said.
"But this year is a different year and we're looking to change that.
“Our system is different to what it has been in the past couple of years and we’ve got more experience in our playing group this year.
“We’re tipping those guys will step up.”
Adelaide has started the year strongly despite a tough start on paper to the 2016 season. The Crows led for the majority of its opening-round clash with North Melbourne, and were comfortable winners over Port Adelaide and 2015 finalists Richmond.
Podsiadly says this week’s match against the Swans will be another formidable challenge for the Club early in the season.
“It’s going to be a test,” he said.
“We respect them really highly. The way they play, the way they’re coached, the way they’re run, the quality of players they’ve got there.
“They’ve been in the finals for I don’t know how many years in a row. That’s something we’re aspiring to.
“But forget the fact that it’s Sydney. It’s still Round Four and we’ve got to play our way.”
