Adelaide will enter the 2019 AFL Draft with three selections inside the top 25 after completing a pick swap with Fremantle on Thursday.
The Crows secured pick No.22 and a future third round selection from the Dockers in exchange for picks 28, 49 and a future fourth round selection.
The incoming third round pick in the 2020 draft is tied to Collingwood, while the outgoing fourth round pick is tied to Carlton.
Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said the Club was pleased to strengthen its draft hand over multiple years as it undergoes a rejuvenation of its playing list.
“We weren’t going to use pick 49 on the night so it was great we could improve our draft position in 2019 and 2020,” Reid said.
“We’re really well placed to add elite young talent to our list for next season with pick 6 and three second round selections, including those two early in the second round.
“It’s a really exciting time for the footy club.”
