Draftee Ben Davis has returned to Adelaide’s primary squad ahead of his likely SANFL debut on Sunday.
Davis, 20, has spent the past two months on the long-term injury list recovering from a foot injury.
Recruited with pick No.75 in last year’s National Draft, Davis is yet to play a game at any level in 2017.
The 188cm forward is set to pull on a Crows jumper for the first time against Norwood at The Parade on Sunday.
As revealed on Thursday morning, rookie Alex Keath has been promoted to Adelaide’s senior list and will make his AFL debut against Geelong on Friday night.
Keath, 25, has been elevated in place of midfielder Curtly Hampton, who was placed on the long-term injury list in June named after undergoing ankle surgery. Adelaide didn’t name a replacement for Hampton at the time.
Coincidentally, Keath and Hampton were part of the same AFL Academy intake (2008) alongside another Crows teammate in Kyle Hartigan.
Adelaide has also lodged paperwork nominating Jono Beech as the Club’s mid-season rookie upgrade.
Beech, who made his AFL debut against St Kilda in Round 12, is eligible for selection for the remainder of the year.
Impressive onballer Hugh Greenwood remains on the Club’s senior list in place of Cam Ellis-Yolmen, who will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
