In a round where match results stunned tipsters, AFL Fantasy scores have proved to be consistent with what team owners have come to expect.
For the first time in AFL history, all nine matches were won by the team ranked lower on the ladder coming in to Round Seven.
The Crows had three players reach triple figures against North Melbourne, despite going down to the Kangaroos at Blundstone Arena on Saturday.
Matt Crouch led Adelaide with a team-high 116 points, recording a game-high 38 disposals in the process.
It’s the third match in a row that the midfielder has cracked the Fantasy ton.
Leaders must take responsibility
Richard Douglas battled hard, recording his second-best Fantasy total of the season. His 108 points lined the stat sheet alongside 30 disposals, four tackles and two goals.
Next in line was Rory Laird, who had 102 points from 37 touches. Valued at $598,000, Laird remains one of the competition’s most valuable defenders, now averaging a career-best 108 points a game.
Sam Jacobs followed with 99 points, falling one-point shy of collecting his fourth 100-plus game this season.
The ruckman now averages 101.8 points a game and is owned in seven per cent of all Fantasy teams.
Daniel Talia (91 points) recorded nine marks in an under-siege defence, while Andy Otten (79) and Josh Jenkins (76) combined up forward for 12 marks, seven tackles and two goals.
