Eddie Betts has edged out Rory Sloane as Crows Fans’ Most Valuable Player for Round Four.
But the result has seen reigning winner Sloane extend his advantage at the top of the MVP leaderboard.
Betts, 30, received 33 per cent of the vote following his masterclass against Essendon on Saturday night. The livewire forward had 22 possessions and kicked six goals to finish the round as joint-leader in the Coleman Medal race.
Betts moved into fourth place in the overall Crows Fans’ MVP standings with 43 votes.

Sloane has jumped clear as the outright MVP leader after attracting 28 per cent of the Round Four vote. The tough onballer amassed 34 possessions, kicked two goals and laid a game-high nine tackles in another gutsy midfield display.
Sloane has been among the top two MVP vote-getters through the last three rounds and now sits 49 points ahead of the second-placed Rory Laird.
Captain Taylor Walker was voted the third-best Crow in the win over the Bombers.
‘Tex’ was recognised by just under a quarter of all respondents for his five-goal haul. Walker also took a game-high 10 marks and had 10 score involvements to move from fifth to third in the season MVP tally.
Rory Laird, Brodie Smith and Charlie Cameron were next in line among the minor vote-getters.

One lucky participant after each round will claim a signed Hertz Crows football, courtesy of the Club’s official match ball partner, simply by voting.
Polls opens immediately after every Crows game. Users assign three votes to the player they deem Adelaide’s best contributor, two to the second-best and one vote for their third most valuable Crow in each match.
Polling closes on Tuesday at 4.30pm (SA time) after each round when the final votes are collated using a points system.
A maximum of 100 points per game can be awarded to the entire team. Each player is given a percentage of the total votes received to go towards their season tally (For example, if 1,200 votes were placed in Round One and Taylor Walker receives 600 then that is the equivalent of 50 per cent of all votes for that round and he would receive 50 points towards his season tally. If the second best player received 120 votes from 1,200 then that is the equivalent of 10 per cent and he will get 10 votes towards the season tally).
This process is repeated each round and players accumulate points towards their season tally. The player at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the season is crowned the Crows Fans’ MVP.
