Jake Lever has earned a spot in AFL Media’s Team of the Week for the first time this season.
Lever, 21, was influential across half-back in Adelaide’s 57-point victory over St Kilda last round.
The young defender collected 20 disposals at an incredible 90 per cent efficiency while also claiming six marks, including four intercepts.
Lever was named in a back pocket in the Round 12 Team of the Week in his maiden appearance in the side.
Tom Lynch continued his strong recent form by being named for a second consecutive round.
The hard-working Crow booted three goals from 22 disposals. He also took eight marks and had five inside 50ms to help sink the Saints last Friday night.
Lynch was selected on a half-forward flank by AFL Media in his third appearance of the season.
Essendon led the way with four players picked in this week’s team ahead of Sydney and Melbourne which had three representatives each. Carlton, Brisbane, Collingwood, Gold Coast joined Adelaide with two players while Hawthorn had one player feature.
