The Crows’ 2018 AFLW list will come together for the first time this weekend for a two-day training camp in Adelaide.
As part of the camp, fans will have a chance to watch the team in action at an internal practice match at Football Park on Sunday, December 10 at 1.30pm. Entry via Checkside Tavern or Gate 8.
Darwin-based players Angela Foley, Sally Riley, Calista Boyd, Jasmyn Hewett and Sophie Armitstead will arrive in Adelaide on Friday to spend the weekend with the 25 players based in South Australia at the Club’s West Lakes headquarters.
The squad will take part in tackling and skills workshops, professional development sessions and team bonding activities as well as playing the internal practice match which is open to fans.
The Crows AFLW team commenced pre-season training in both Adelaide and Darwin on November 21.
The group will have two weeks leave over Christmas and then will take part in a second training camp in Darwin in mid-January which will include a trial match against Fremantle.
The 2018 season commences on the first weekend in February, with the Crows taking on the Brisbane Lions on Saturday, February 3 at Norwood Oval.
The Crows AFLW team is in partnership with AFL Northern Territory.
