Former Hawthorn captain Luke Hodge is almost certain to return from a one-match club suspension for Saturday's clash with the Crows at the MCG.

Hodge was excluded from selection for the Hawks’ Round One clash with Essendon after he missed a training session earlier this month.

Dangerous forward/midfielder Cyril Rioli is expected to overcome a corked thigh that hampered him through much of Saturday night’s loss to the Bombers.

Hawthorn is almost at full strenght with just two players currently on its injury list.

Jonathan O'Rourke (hamstring) and ruckman Jonathon Ceglar are the only Hawks unavailable to confront the Crows.

Versatile defender Kaiden Brand could be in the mix for a recall to help Hawthorn combat Adelaide’s potent forward line, particularly if the Crows welcome captain Taylor Walker back into their line-up.

Experienced midfielder Brendan Whitecross, young South Australian Ryan Burton and left-footer Kade Stewart could all considered for the clash at the MCG.

Hawthorn currently holds a seven-game winning streak against Adelaide stemming back to the opening round of Season 2011.
