Key-positions players Daniel Talia and Josh Jenkins have both been included in Adelaide’s squad of 25 to play Richmond on Sunday evening.
Jenkins, defender Jake Kelly, ruckman Reilly O’Brien and draftee Myles Poholke are the additions to the squad, which will be reduced to 22 on afc.com.au or the official Crows App at 4:30pm on Friday.
Young forward Riley Knight (hamstring) is the only confirmed omission at this stage. The Club will take a cautious approach with the 17-gamer, who missed most of last season through injury.
Jenkins hasn’t played since injuring his ribs against Hawthorn in Round Two, while Kelly has recovered from an eye complaint that kept him out of last week’s win over Gold Coast.
Talia experienced hamstring soreness in the opening minute of Adelaide’s clash with the Suns, and didn’t take any further part in the match.
Earlier on Thursday, coach Don Pyke said the two-time All Australian trained with the squad.
"The way he (Talia) trained shows he is on track to play," Pyke said.
"When he first presented, our doctors thought it was a hamstring (injury), but the scan was clear, so it might be some tendinitis he was suffering.
"He cooled off with the ceremony for Anzac Day last week, and then when he went to go, he felt something and they treated it and it settled down really well.
"We'll see how he pulls up in the morning, but at this stage he's on track to play."
Jenkins, Talia and Kelly have all been named on an extended interchange alongside O’Brien, Poholke, Wayne Milera Junior and Troy Menzel.
Limited tickets remain for Sunday’s twilight clash between the two undefeated teams at Adelaide Oval.
The game starts at 4:10pm with gates opening at 2pm.
It’s the first time since 1981 that two teams with 5 – 0 records will go head to head.
Star forwards Eddie Betts and Jack Riewoldt will both be hoping to reach the 500-goal milestone this weekend. Betts has kicked 498 career goals, while Riewoldt is sitting on 497.

It’s ‘Sunday Funday’ this weekend, with a wide range of activities available for the kids. There will be a kick and a catch on Adelaide Oval after the game, subject to weather and oval conditions.

On Saturday, fans catch watch the AFL Crows team train at Adelaide Oval at an open session from 9:45am. The light session will run about 45 minutes.
Adelaide’s SANFL team will also be in action on Saturday, in a ‘Showdown’ against the Port Magpies at Woodville Oval. The Crows have dedicated the match - the Club’s only home SANFL game of the season - to support Crows Ambassador and BMX champion Sam Willoughby in his recovery from a serious spinal injury. The game starts at 1:10pm and will be broadcast live on Channel 7.
