Sam Gibson has further solidified his reputation as a running machine by taking out the 2km time trial as the Crows returned to training following the Christmas break.
The newly-recruited midfielder claimed first place in the previous time trial held in December, having built a name for himself as an endurance king in his time at North Melbourne.
Defender Jake Kelly ran second in the trial, held at the SA Athletics Stadium on Monday morning.
Riley Knight, who claimed line honours in the 1-4 year players’ 2km run in November, finished third, with pacey winger Rory Atkins and 2017 All-Australian defender Rory Laird putting in impressive efforts respectively to round out the top five.
The Crows followed the run with the first training session of 2018 at Thebarton Oval.
