The day has finally arrived for Crows recruit Bryce Gibbs, with the midfielder’s iconic locks to be chopped off at Adelaide’s West Lakes headquarters on Thursday.

AFC Media will stream The Bun is Done on the Crows’ Facebook Page from 1pm ACDT, with coverage to also feature on afc.com.au and in the official Club App.

Senior coach Don Pyke has claimed exclusive rights to have the first crack with the clippers, while a number of other special guests will be in attendance.

The campaign has seen over $20,000 of donations so far, with all funds raised supporting the Crows Children’s Foundation and Dementia Australia.

50 per cent of proceeds will support the Crows Children's Foundation's work with children in need through health, education and welfare programs. The remaining 50 per cent will support Dementia Australia and its work providing vital support services to people living with dementia, their families and carers in South Australia. Alzheimer's disease is the most prevalent form of dementia and has affected Bryce's immediate family as well as his fiancé Lauren's.
