Since Adelaide called Douglas’ name at the 2005 draft, he’s earned the Phil Walsh Best Team Man award three times, Club Champion in 2010 and an All Australian nomination in 2013.
The 31-year-old has played 237 games for the Club across 13 seasons, ranked ninth for games played for the Club, and will continue in 2019 after penning a one-year contract extension in June.
Douglas trails Scott Thompson, who is ranked eighth for Crows games played with 269.

Thompson was selected by Melbourne in the 2000 draft, where he played 39 games across four seasons before he was traded to Adelaide in 2015.
In the
Brett ‘Birdman’ Burton was selected by Adelaide from Whyalla in the 1998 draft.
He played 177 for the Club before retiring in 2010 and kicked 264 goals to be the (equal) sixth leading goalkicker in the Club’s history.
In 2017, Burton returned to the Club as Head of Football.

Pick No. 16 also accounted for Eagles star Fraser Gehrig (1993) who was a prolific goalkicker throughout his career at both West Coast and St Kilda.
At the Saints, he led their goalkicking for five consecutive seasons from 2003-2007.
With 549 goals from 260 games, he was an All-Australian in 1997 and 2004, led West Coast’s goalkicking in 1998 and claimed the Coleman Medal in 2004 and 2005.
