Sibling rivalry in the Kelly family could come to the AFL with Jake Kelly’s younger brother, Will, a draft chance with Collingwood as a father/son pick.
Their father, Craig, was a Collingwood star but the Magpies passed on Jake in 2014 and the Crows snapped him up.
Now it looks like Will is firming as a tall defender/forward option and with the Magpies circling this week on The Crows Show, brought to you by Foodland, we chat to Jake about brotherly advice and Will’s footy talent.
“I found it really great seeing him go through the same journey I did,” Kelly said.
“I’ve actually been ringing him most weeks explaining to him what you go through and what are you feeling.
“It’s been great, I’ve really been enjoying that role and telling him how I felt at that time.”
Also on The Crows Show, we go back in time to learn more about how ‘the pride of South Australia’ came about with inaugural Crows CEO, Bill Sanders.
AFL drafting could be revolutionised with the introduction of live pick trading, and Alana Smith and Mark Bickley discuss how exactly it works and what it means for clubs and fans.
The Adelaide Oval game day experience is a leader in Australian sport and the company responsible is KOJO Marketing.
Meanwhile, Brodie Smith is back for the Thomas Farms Junior Jam with Charlie joining him.
