Adelaide captain Taylor Walker has declared himself an almost certain starter for Thursday night's Grand Final rematch with Richmond at Adelaide Oval.
Walker missed round one and the JLT Community Series with a foot injury and says he just needs to get through training this week to face the Tigers.
While midfielder Riley Knight (ankle) won't play, Walker said fellow forward Tom Lynch could return from a side strain and Wayne Milera is chance to be recalled.
The return of Walker will be a major boost for the Crows' chances of turning the table on Richmond after the 48-point thrashing they received in last season's decider.
"We have our main session today, so if I get through that I will play," Walker told Triple M radio on Tuesday.
"If (Don Pyke) wants to pick me I will be ready to play.
"Lynchy and I will have to get through today, but Riley Knight is a week away. Wayne Milera is a chance."
Walker also addressed an online article that suggested some of Adelaide's players were struggling to recover from a "cult like" pre-season camp that tested the participants psychologically.
He said he was unaware of any teammates who were stressed following the camp and insisted accusations players were forced to fill out a mentally-challenging questionnaire were incorrect.
"That journalist has got some things completely wrong, and the camp we went on with footy was personally one of the most beneficial and rewarding camps I've ever been on," Walker said.
"I'd encourage my best mates and family members to do the same thing.
"Our football club, like most other clubs in the competition, are exploring ways to get an edge in the AFL in the mental space.
"We've been doing that for a number of years, whether that be in mindfulness, our meditation and things like that.
"So, there was elements of the camp we delved into that (tested) the mental side (of the players), but we think we can get an advantage over the other teams in the competition."
