Adelaide co-captain Chelsea Randall has been nominated for the Round Five AFLW MVP of the Week.
Randall has been one of the competition’s most consistent players in the first five rounds and has led Adelaide’s defence from the front all season.
In Adelaide’s 35-point win over Carlton at Norwood Oval last Saturday, Randall had 15 disposals, laid seven tackles, and continued to take the game on in courageous fashion.
Randall was one of three players nominated for the award this week, alongside Melbourne captain Daisy Pearce and Brisbane’s Kate Lutkins.
Fans have the chance to vote for the AFLW MVP of the Week, on the AFLPA website.
Randall’s nomination follows her fellow co-captain, Erin Phillips, winning the AFLW MVP of the Week in Round Three, after her four goals led Adelaide to a seven-point win over the Western Bulldogs.
