It’s the age-old question every professional athlete has to ask themselves when their playing days come to an end… What now?
Ben Hart became a coach, Tyson Edwards became a real estate mogul, and Rhett Biglands runs Nike in the city.
For Crows players today, they are already hitting the books to ensure they’re prepared for life after football.
Many members of the team are studying degrees now, including Myles Poholke, who is undertaking a diploma in business through the Club.
“I know footy can consume you, it’s a really tough industry,” Poholke told The Crows Show, brought to you by Optus.
“To have a full day doing this, (which also) requires you to do some in your own time, it gives me something to do when I’m home on the couch.”

Road Scholars managing director Daniele Lima said the business diploma gave players a wide range of options post-playing career.
“They can move into marketing, into sales, into management, it really is a blank canvas,” Lima said.
“As a club, Adelaide can be proud that the students have been very focussed, very professional and haven’t missed a beat, quite frankly.”
Also on The Crows Show this week, Andy Otten is in the hotseat to quiz Brodie Smith, Don Pyke faces former test cricketer Greg Blewett on the green and Darcy Fogarty discusses his journey from the country to the Crows.
The Crows Show will air on Sunday at 11.30am on Channel 7.
