Adelaide’s forward line could be boosted this weekend with Sarah Perkins named in the Crows' squad of 23 for this Sunday’s clash with Carlton.

The fan favourite missed out on Saturday’s one-point loss to the Western Bulldogs after a back injury restricted her training loads post-Christmas.

Draftee Danielle Ponter, who is based in the Northern Territory, and midfielder Sally Riley have also been included in the extended squad.

If Ponter is selected, the 19-year-old will make her AFLW debut against the Blues.

Cross-code athlete Jenna McCormick will not be available for this week’s match due to finals commitments with W-League side the Brisbane Roar.

Adelaide’s final team will be announced at 1:30pm ACDT on Friday.

The Crows will take on Carlton at Ikon Stadium on Sunday, February 10 from 4.05pm AEDT.
