One of Australian sport’s most enduring partnerships will enter its fourth decade with Toyota Australia extending its major sponsorship of the Adelaide Football Club.
Toyota Australia has been with the Crows since their inception and this latest major partnership agreement runs until the end of 2023.
It means the iconic automotive brand will remain on the front of the Club’s guernsey while also continuing to play an integral role within the Club’s matchday activations, including HiLux Hill at Adelaide Oval.
Amongst the other benefits, the Crows will support Toyota’s Good For Footy program which has so far provided more than $5m funding to grassroots clubs across the country.
Both organisations are committed to raising awareness of the program and the benefits it delivers to local communities, particularly in South Australia.
Crows Chairman Rob Chapman thanked Toyota for its ongoing contribution and commitment.
“We would not be the strong and stable club that we are today without the unwavering support of Toyota,” Chapman said.
“This latest agreement reinforces our shared values and the benefits we have been able to drive for both organisations, as well as the faith we have in each other’s future direction.
“Our sincere thanks go to Toyota head office, South Australian management and the many local dealers, who are all valued members of the Crows family.”
Toyota Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer Wayne Gabriel said the auto brand has been with the Adelaide Football Club since the beginning.
“We’ve been a proud partner of the Crows since they played their first AFL season in 1991, which happened to be the same year we became Australia’s best-selling automotive brand,” Mr Gabriel said.
“It’s not surprising that we’ve come this far together - both the Crows and Toyota have a winning culture built on passion, innovation and inspiring progress on the field and on the road.”
