Some young Indigenous female footballers were involved in a great experience on Sunday, when they played in a curtain raiser on Unley Oval ahead of Adelaide’s 32-point win against GWS.
It was the first time the Crows Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Girls Academy have been involved in a curtain raiser.
The Academy program has been running since November 2018 and has been well supported by its sponsors, the Crows Children’s Foundation and Quitline, as well as coach Bronwyn Davey.
Team Randall wore the blue guernseys, while Team Davey wore white.
