Scans have confirmed that Erin Phillips and Chloe Scheer both require reconstructive surgery after suffering knee injuries in Adelaide’s AFLW Grand Final win on Sunday.
The Club is working with both players to put together appropriate rehabilitation programs.
Crows General Manager of Football Administration Phil Harper said the Crows family will provide the utmost support to the two players.
“Unfortunately, injuries are part of football and it was somewhat of a bittersweet moment for both Erin and Chloe yesterday,” Harper said.
“They are both outstanding women and athletes and we will ensure they have all the support and guidance they need.
“Both players are committed, determined and professional, and that will guide their rehabilitation.”
Phillips remained in Adelaide for assessment today and, at this stage, is set to attend the W Awards in Melbourne on Tuesday night.
