Adelaide co-captain Taylor Walker has backed his side to bounce back from a disappointing loss against Essendon in Round 18.
Walker conceded the whole team needed to improve ahead of Carlton on Saturday but reiterated he would never question his teammate’s effort.
“At the moment, we’re not stringing four quarters together,” Walker told Triple M’s Roo & Ditts.
“If I was a Crows fan, I’d be bloody frustrated, just as we are.
“We need to fix it as soon as possible.”
When asked if wholesale changes were needed, Walker said he was “backing his side in” to return to form.

Walker also addressed Adelaide’s inaccurate kicking (the Crows were 2.5 at quarter-time and 7.10 at half-time) which allowed the Bombers a route back into the match.
“The kicking straight has been an issue for us the whole year,” Walker said.
“We could have been up by more at half-time (against Essendon).
“We’re in games most of the time until half-time… then we’re not coming out and doing it.”
Regarding the knock he copped to his elbow, Walker said he was still “quite sore”.
“I’m still a good chance to play,” he said.
“(But) we’ll just have to wait for the whole week to let it settle down.”
