Hugh Greenwood, Jordan Gallucci and Darcy Fogarty headline a strong SANFL side set to face Sturt on Saturday.

Crows SANFL coach Heath Younie will have 13 senior players at his disposal along with five from the rookie list.

Greenwood and Gallucci will be joined in the midfield by Myles Poholke, who was influential in the trial game against Port Adelaide last week.

Fogarty will lead the forward line with help from first-year Crow Kieran Strachan and Richmond-recruit Tyson Stengle.

Captain Matthew Wright will start on the half-forward flank alongside Elliott Himmelberg and Ned McHenry.

Will Hamill and Andrew McPherson will both need to step up in the backline after experienced defender Kyle Hartigan was called up to replace the injured Tom Doedee.

Younie said the team has played enough trials and that they are ready for the season.

“(We’re) really looking forward to it, more so to allow all our players the chance to play for points,” Younie said.

“They’ve (Sturt) have been a really strong outfit for the last three years, we expect a strong contest.

“Our guys will be well prepared, ready to play and I’m fully confident whoever plays for us, AFL listed or development squad will acquit themselves strongly.”

Adelaide will take on Sturt from 2.10pm at Peter Motley Oval.
