Adelaide football director Mark Ricciuto has announced the Crows will not appoint a senior assistant coach to replace Scott Camporeale.
Ricciuto confirmed the decision on Triple M on Tuesday morning ahead of Adelaide’s second-to-fourth-year players returning this week.
“Senior assistant role, there isn’t going to be one,” Ricciuto said.
"Matty Nicks just wants to have less voices and give the line coaches more of an opportunity to play a bit more of a dominant role this year.
"So, they're going with less voices."
Adelaide is yet to appoint a new head of football following Brett Burton’s dismissal last month.
The Club will also look to fill a leadership and culture position once a head of football has been selected.
