Crows forward Josh Jenkins is set to make his AFL return on Saturday night when Adelaide takes on Melbourne at Darwin’s TIO Stadium.
The 30-year-old booted six goals from 22 disposals in his most recent SANFL appearance, to go with seven marks and five tackles.
Jenkins is one of three inclusions, with experienced pair Bryce Gibbs and Tom Lynch also named in Don Pyke’s side.
Elliott Himmelberg, Riley Knight and Chayce Jones have all been omitted.
Midfielder Matt Crouch will miss another week after failing to overcome a hip injury.
Crows Head of Football Brett Burton said Crouch had come very close.
“He completed main training, which was good, but his twisting movement was still aggravating him so we made the call not to take any risks with him this week,” Burton said.
Himmelberg, Knight, Jones and David Mackay are the emergencies.
First bounce on Saturday night is at 7.10pm ACST, with the game to be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Sports 3 from 7pm.
Adelaide’s Round 11 side is…
IN - Josh Jenkins, Bryce Gibbs, Tom Lynch
OUT - Riley Knight, Chayce Jones, Elliott Himmelberg
