New Crows co-captain Rory Sloane is ready to shake things up at West Lakes and believes there is one major area he can best Taylor Walker in.

“Well, for a start, I’ll have better hair,” Sloane told AFL Media on Captains Day last Friday. 

“Over the past years, Tex has rocked a mullet, and now he’s got short hair and there’s a few greys breaking through too.

“So I’ll keep my blonde hair long and lush and put him to shame.”

Outside of the haircut department, Sloane revealed he had his eye on Walker’s unofficial regular carpark.

“He rolls with the same carpark every week,” Sloane said.

“Maybe he thinks it’s the captain’s carpark.

“If that’s the case he’ll need to share it with his co-captain.

“He’s there first so he gets first dibs, so I might have to start getting up half-hour earlier to steal his spot.”

All tongue-in-cheek, Sloane said he would not be fussed about where he parked his car. 

But does he have a point about the haircuts?
