Where the votes will go …
After winning a remarkable 13 clearances, Scott Thompson should continue his strong vote-polling form with another three. Taylor Walker, who became ineligible to win the Brownlow when he was cited for sliding into Port Adelaide defender Jacob Surjan in Round Five, starred before being booked again, this time for rough conduct against Cat Harry Taylor. Rory Sloane and Brent Reilly could also add to their vote tallies in this match.
Our prediction:
3 - Scott Thompson (Adel)
2 - Rory Sloane (Adel)
1 - Taylor Walker (Adel)
Scott Thompson under pressure against the Cats

Where the votes will go …
Despite being involved in a heavy collision, which left Blues star Marc Murphy with a broken shoulder, Dangerfield was unstoppable against Carlton and should poll his third lot of best-on-ground votes for the season. Thompson was widely considered the second-best player, while skipper Nathan van Berlo was excellent on Murphy and then Chris Judd, but history suggests he’s less likely to receive umpire recognition as a tagger. The one vote could go to any number of Crows, including Bernie Vince (ineligible), who kicked three goals in his return from a broken hand, the in-form Sloane, ruckman Sam Jacobs and focal point Kurt Tippett.
Our prediction:
3 - Patrick Dangerfield (Adel)
2 - Scott Thompson (Adel)
1 - Bernie Vince (Adel)
Patrick Dangerfield wins one of his eight clearances

Coaches votes
9 Dayne Beams (Coll)
7 Scott Pendlebury (Coll)
7 Steele Sidebottom (Coll)
3 Nick Maxwell (Coll)
2 Daniel Talia (Adel)
2 Thomas (Coll)
Where the votes will go …
Adelaide led by a goal at three-quarter time, but managed only three behinds in the final term as Collingwood cruised to a comfortable 26-point win. Dayne Beams, Scott Pendlebury, Steele Sidebottom and Dale Thomas, who was influential in the last term, are likely to keep the Crows out of the voting.
Our prediction:
No Crows votes

Where the votes will go …
It’s almost impossible for the umpires to go past Rory Sloane as the best player on the ground. Patrick Dangerfield should receive his first ‘minor’ votes for the year, while Matt Wright is a good chance to poll his first-ever Brownlow Medal vote. Taylor Walker could also feature here.
Our prediction:
3 - Rory Sloane (Adel)
2 - Patrick Dangerfield (Adel)
1 - Matt Wright (Adel)
Rory celebrates one of his three goals
