Premiership player and All-Australian forward Caitlin Gould has reaffirmed her commitment to the Crows by signing a two-year contract extension.
Already contracted for the season ahead, Gould will now remain at West Lakes until at least the end of 2027.
The new deal follows an outstanding campaign last year when the former volleyballer won the Club’s leading goal kicker award and earnt All-Australian selection for the first time.
The 25-year-old played her 50th game in Week Three and led the competition in contested marks and marks inside-50 last season.
Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said Gould had established herself as one of the premier forwards in the competition.
“Caitlin has a number of strengths but in particular her ability to not only take marks but also bring the ball to ground and pinch-hit in the ruck is really valuable to our team,” Harper said.
“She has now played over 50 games and become a real leader in our forward line, so having her recommit to the Club until the end of 2027 is a big boost for us as we look to take momentum into pre-season training and the season ahead.”
Gould said she felt a special connection to the Club which led to her decision to re-sign.
“I’m really excited to be signing on for another two years and even more excited to see what this group is capable of this season and in years to come,” she said.
“The Adelaide Football Club has always been like family to me, the players and staff are what make this program so special so I’m really pleased to continue to be a part of it.”
