Young Adelaide midfielder Sid Draper will make his AFL debut in the Crows’ clash against St Kilda at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
The Crows selected Draper with Pick No.4 at the 2024 AFL National Draft and the 18-year-old has impressed across his first pre-season at West Lakes.
In Adelaide’s final pre-season hit-out against Brisbane earlier this month, Draper was injected into the match after half-time, and showcased his trademark speed and ability to break the lines.
He gave the on-ball brigade a spark against the Lions, finishing with 14 disposals and five clearances from just two quarters.
Adelaide will name a 26-man squad on Thursday at 5.50pm, before its final team on Friday at 4.30pm (ACDT).
The Crows host St Kilda at Adelaide Oval on Sunday at 12.05pm.
