Adelaide will enter its Preliminary Final against Brisbane with no new injury concerns.

The Crows came out of their Semi-Final win over Fremantle in good health, with all but two players expected to be available for selection.

Midfielder Anne Hatchard suffered a knock in the third quarter but returned to the field and completed the match.

“It’s good news we have no new injuries, we saw Anne Hatchard got cleaned up, but she went back on so everyone who played last week will be available to play this week,” Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said.

“It was a warm day (on Saturday), but it was the same temperature for both teams… I think they will be fine, they’ll just do some extra recovery this week and be fine to face the Lions.”

Defender Brooke Smith is continuing to progress well in her recovery from a broken collarbone and will start to reintegrate back into main training.

“She’s been running for a couple of weeks and she’s going to start joining in with some drills now,” Harper said.

“If we were at desperation stages and had to play her in the Grand Final, she may well be available.

“She didn’t require surgery, which was great, but it meant she had a lot of rehab to go through to get her back to 100% but we’re pleased for her that she’s back out there and running.”

Forward Eloise Jones also continues to make good progress in her rehabilitation as she aims for a return to running before pre-season training re-commences in May.

“She’s walking around a lot better; I think in a couple of weeks she gets the moonboot off, and she’ll start walking,” Harper said.

“I wouldn’t think it will be until the end of January or February that she will be able to a bit of jogging, but we are very hopeful that she will be available and running by the time we start pre-season training."
