Forward Lewis Johnston is a chance to return from a knee injury in the SANFL this weekend.
It’s been nearly two months since Johnston suffered a small fracture adjacent to his left knee joint while playing for North Adelaide. The 22-year-old didn’t require surgery, but had to avoid weight bearing exercise while the fracture healed. He’s expected to return to train fully this week with the hope of lining up for the Roosters on Sunday.
Jared Petrenko, who has missed three weeks with a sprained AC joint, is available for selection.
Defender Brent Reilly is awaiting scans on his dislocated shoulder, but is certain to miss Adelaide’s clash with West Coast at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night. The Club will provide a further update in the coming days.
Brodie Martin will be sidelined for at least another fortnight with a badly sprained ankle.
The Crows will have a light run on Max Basheer Reserve from approximately 10am on Tuesday (July 2) and will hold their final training session of the week at AAMI Stadium from about 10:30am on Friday (July 5).
