Adelaide Co-Captain Ebony Marinoff has moved to equal top of the AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year leaderboard, after starring in Round Four against Essendon.
Marinoff polled nine votes from a performance which included 23 disposals, 12 tackles, five clearances, 661 metres gained and a goal.
The 26-year-old now shares the lead with Brisbane’s Ally Anderson and North Melbourne’s Ash Riddell on 33 votes.
Former Adelaide Skipper Chelsea Randall also caught the eye of the coaches to receive six votes from 16 disposals, eight tackles, two clearances, 331 metres gained and a goal.
Niamh Kelly (five), Anne Hatchard (four), Caitlin Gould (two), Danielle Ponter (two) and Maddi Newman (one) rounded out Adelaide’s vote-getters.
Hatchard, a triple Premiership star and three-time Club Champion winner, is eighth on the leaderboard with 22 votes.
Essendon’s Maddi Gay also received one vote.
