Adelaide has broken its all-time membership record by surpassing 75,000 for the first time.

The AFL today released official membership numbers for 2024, and the Crows’ total of 75,477 has eclipsed the previous best of 68,536 last year.

The growth comes on the back of home match crowds, which averaged in excess of 41,000, and AFLW membership exceeding 7500 for the first time.

Crows CEO Tim Silvers said the membership record reinforced the passion Crows supporters had for the Club.

“This year has been challenging and we didn’t get the desired results or meet expectations, and I’d like to sincerely thank our Members for their consistent and ongoing support,” Silvers said.

“The way in which they get behind the players, both at Adelaide Oval and interstate, is incredible.

“Support for our AFLW team continues to grow and we now have more than 7500 members which is very exciting heading into our first home game of the season this Sunday.

“Our women’s team has started the season really strongly with two big wins and we’d love to see a great crowd at Unley this weekend to take on the Hawks.”
