Adelaide could have a host of players available for this weekend’s game against Fremantle.
Midfielder Teah Charlton is aiming to return to football following off-season foot surgery.
“Teah has now been back in full training for the last couple of weeks, the next step for her is to play half a game,” Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said.
“Hopefully she will be available, we’ll test her this week, but she will only play half in either the AFLW game or the trial game (for non-selected AFLW players).”
Tall Caitlin Gould missed Saturday night’s game with a minor quad strain but is expected to return to face the Dockers.
“Caitlin joined back in to main training this week and she should be available,” Harper said.
“She’ll get tested fully on Wednesday and it will depend on how she comes up, but we are pretty confident she will be alright to play.”
In further good news, utilities Hannah Munyard and Tamara Henry are also in the mix return this weekend.
“Hannah is progressing to training with the full group this week, hopefully she can get through a full training session on Wednesday and be available for selection this weekend,” Harper said.
“We thought Tamara might have gotten up to play last week but she didn’t, so we are pretty confident she will be fine to play this week as well.”
