Five Crows caught the eye of the coaches’ following Adelaide’s 32-point victory over St Kilda at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night. 

Forward Ben Keays led the way with a game-high eight votes, signifying a solid all-round performance.

Keays was pivotal to the Crows’ front-half pressure, laying eight tackles and recording 21 pressure acts, while also collecting 24 disposals.

Lachlan Sholl polled six votes for his efforts on the wing in trying conditions, as he used the ball at an efficient 76 per cent, was involved in five scores, kicked two goals and racked up 17 disposals.

Skipper Jordan Dawson and midfielder Rory Laird received five votes apiece after playing pivotal roles in Adelaide’s on-ball brigade.

Laird recorded the most tackles (13) and disposals (31) on the ground, while Dawson was a driving force with 562 metres gained, to go with his 26 possessions. 

Young midfielder Jake Soligo rounded out the vote getters, with his 21 pressure acts and 25 disposals netting him three.
