South Australian jockey Kayla Crowther is throwing her support behind the fight against MND, getting involved with the inaugural SA Freeze.
Crowther, who has recorded 623 victories across her career to date, will be one of five personalities to take on the icy plunge at Adelaide Oval on Thursday.
The Crows are hosting the SA Freeze as part of the fight against MND ahead of their Round 13 match against Richmond.
It will kick-start a big weekend for FightMND which culminates with the 10th anniversary of the Big Freeze at the MCG on the King’s Birthday Monday.
Crowther, who will join Greg Blewett, Andrew Jarman and Rory Sloane as ‘dunkee’s, says she’s “thrilled to be involved in helping those doing it tough because of MND, it’s great the Crows have gotten behind this cause and I hope all of South Australia gets behind us too.”
