Emergency Services Match
The Crows will host Brisbane at Adelaide Oval for South Australia’s Emergency Services Match.

The match provides an opportunity to thank South Australian volunteers and employees from SAPOL, SAAS, SAFECOM, MFS, CFS and SES, as well as raise awareness of the important work they do.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.

Arrive Early
There will be plenty to see and do before the game, so we are encouraging fans to arrive early and take up the opportunity to interact with and explore a role as a frontline hero.

Activities
The Southern Plaza there will host a range of Emergency Services vehicles from the SAPOL, CFS and SES. This includes rescue trucks and Rescue Vessels, and photo booth, providing the opportunity for kids of all ages to take photos and even climb in some.

There will also be SAPOL jet skis, motorcycles and horses as well as SES rescue dogs and Emergency Services mascots roaming. Surf Life Saving will also be set up with a Jet Rescue Boat.

The Eastern Plaza will host a working Ambulance, and MFS Cappa Truck which people can explore.

There will be plenty of recruitment information available and fans are encouraged to speak to staff and volunteers about their agencies and what it’s like to be on the ground or in strategic operations during bushfires, floods, police response and many other duties.

All agencies involved are encouraging people of all ages to ask any questions and sign up as a volunteer or potential full-time staff member. It’s an opportunity to pick their brains and take up a new volunteer role or consider a new career.

On ground, the SAPOL Band will play Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes and Club song as the team runs out.

The Guard of Honour will feature representatives from each agency.

Heading to the game as a member? Members can use their ticket to scan into the game through the Adelaide Crows Official App. Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app on your phone and add tickets to your wallet beforehand to ensure a seamless entry when you arrive at Adelaide Oval. If you have transferred tickets to a friend, ensure they accept it 30 minutes prior to arrival for ease of entry. Find further member ticketing information here.

Getting to and from the game:
The FREE Footy Express (AO and AOX) service will run to and from Adelaide Oval to get you to the game. FREE travel is also available on regular Adelaide Metro and Footy Express bus, train and tram services with your valid game day ticket to Adelaide Oval from 3 hours prior to the first bounce on Sunday, 12 May 2024. Our Member Services team will be in the Southern Plaza (left of the Southern gate entrance) and in the North and East ticket box offices from 1.30pm to support you through any member enquiries.

Crows Live
Crows Live will be broadcast following the match against Brisbane, with viewers able to tune-in 20 minutes after the final siren. Members and fans can text their questions and opinions to 0427 162 944 from the opening bounce. Experienced presenter and journalist Monique Van Der Heyden will host the show alongside Adelaide Crows favourites Ebony Marinoff and Mark Bickley.
