Adelaide’s SANFL side will have another opportunity to fine tune ahead of its 2024 season, which starts in a fortnight, when it plays Sturt in a trial game on Saturday morning.
The Crows will take on the Double Blues at Thebarton Oval on Saturday at 10am, also giving those not selected for the AFL team’s Round One game a chance to play.
AFL Recruits Daniel Curtin, Oscar Ryan and Charlie Edwards have been selected in the side, along with Brayden Cook, Will Hamill and Zac Taylor.
Defender Will Hamill, Irish recruit Karl Gallagher and youngsters Hugh Bond, Billy Dowling and Luke Nankervis are also among those AFL-listed players selected in the squad, while Kieran Strachan will ruck for the Crows.
Crows SANFL Captain Jack Madgen will lead the side.
The match is an official SANFL trial game, with 14 State League-listed players named including Jay Boyle, Hugh Haysman, Toby Murray and Tyler Welsh.
