Graeme Goodings will serve a second term on the Adelaide Football Club’s Board of Directors after polling the most member votes in this year’s independently run election.
The media personality, a former long-time Channel 7 journalist and news presenter who nowadays can be heard on Adelaide radio, has been elected for a further two-years.
Goodings claimed 72.4 percent of the vote compared to rival candidate Tracy Smart’s 27.6 percent, with the CorpVote-run election involving an online ballot.
“Since joining the Board, I’ve prided myself on being the voice at the table that reflects the views of members and supporters, and I am thankful for their vote of confidence,” Goodings said.
“There is a lot to look forward to this season both on and off the field and in the years ahead, especially with our new headquarters on the horizon, and I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to continue with the Club in an official capacity.”
After nearly four years as a Board Director, entrepreneur and renowned winemaker Warren Randall is stepping down to invest more time in his significantly expanding business interests, both domestically and internationally.
Crows Chairman John Olsen thanked Randall for his service, adding his input and guidance in the post-pandemic years had contributed to the Club’s current day prosperity.
“Like all Directors, Warren has volunteered considerable time, and the Club is better for his passion and sharp business mind, and his contribution is greatly appreciated,” Olsen said.
Board-appointed Directors Linda Fellows, Shanti Berggren, Stephen Roche, Kate Ellis and John Olsen have had their tenures extended.
Adelaide’s Board Directors are John Olsen (Chairman), Linda Fellows (Deputy Chair), Mark Ricciuto, Richard Fennell, Kate Ellis, Stephen Roche, Shanti Berggren, Imelda Lynch and Graeme Goodings.
