New Adelaide recruits Dan Curtin, Charlie Edwards and Oscar Ryan form part of a Crows SANFL squad which will take on West Adelaide in a trial match on Saturday morning.
The match against the Bloods will be hosted at West Lakes, as both sides fine tune for the 2024 SANFL season, which kicks off on March 28.
Fellow AFL-listed players including Karl Gallagher, Patrick Parnell, Luke Nankervis and Hugh Bond, will also feature.
The match will be SANFL Captain Jack Madgen’s first official game as Skipper.
Father-son product Tyler Welsh, Jay Boyle, Josh Smithson and Toby Murray, who is the brother of AFL-listed defender Nick Murray, are among the SANFL-listed players named in the side.
Welsh, the son of Scott Welsh, who played 129 AFL games for Adelaide between 2000-2007, arrived at the Club from Woodville-West Torrens under the SANFL’s Rookie Program.
Stephen Tahana, Dylan Whimpress and Jarman Sigal have been named as the emergencies.
Adelaide will play West Adelaide at West Lakes (football park) on Saturday, March 2, at 10am.
