The Adelaide Crows and major partner Toyota are today celebrating the 33rd anniversary of one of Australian sports longest-standing sports partnerships.
Since January 30, 1991, Toyota and the Crows have gone from strength to strength together, with the car manufacturer’s brand front of the Club’s guernsey and across AFL apparel.
The Crows also continue to support Toyota’s Good for Footy program, which has provided millions of dollars in funding to thousands of grassroots football clubs across the country.
The 33-year anniversary follows Toyota extending their agreement with the Crows in March last year to continue as the Club’s Major Partner until at least the end of 2027.
Crows CEO Tim Silvers said the Club was proud to celebrate another milestone with Toyota.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support the entire Toyota family has provided the Club since day one and also for the belief they have in our future,” Silvers said.
“Toyota is all about inspiring progress and enriching the communities in which they operate and they are committed to growing Australian Rules Football from the ground up, so our partnership has always been about much more than just a logo on the front of our guernsey.”
Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer Vin Naidoo said the pairs’ values aligned, helping to ensure the longevity of the partnership.
“We are excited to have such strength in our relationship with the club, working alongside such an exceptional team, in such an exceptional football city,” Naidoo said.
