Adelaide Skipper Chelsea Randall headlines a list of six inclusions to the Crows’ side set to take on Brisbane in a Qualifying Final on Saturday afternoon.

Randall has been recalled after being managed for the Round 10 clash against West Coast in Perth last weekend.

She joins three-time Premiership players Anne Hatchard and Stevie-Lee Thompson, as well as youngsters Kiera Mueller and Zoe Prowse, who are among the inclusions.

Premiership defender Najwa Allen also returns to the team, following a three-game suspension.

Lisa Whiteley, Deni Varnhagen, Brooke Smith, Taylah Levy, Keeley Kustermann and Brooke Tonon have been omitted.

Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said Randall, Hatchard, Thompson and Mueller had benefited from a rest, while Prowse was returning after the flu had kept her out last week.

“It was decided that giving Anne Hatchard, Chelsea Randall, Stevie-Lee Thompson and Kiera Mueller a week off would be helpful in their recovery, so they all come back in,” Harper said.

“It’s also good to welcome back Zoe, who was ill last week, and Najwa, as well.

“Those going out of the team all performed strongly last week, leaving the selection committee with difficult decisions, but with the knowledge that we have a great depth of talent, capable and ready to play if needed in the coming weeks.”

Varnhagen, Tonon and Jess Waterhouse have been named as the emergencies.

The match against the Lions begins the Crows’ quest for a historic fourth flag and comes after they ended the season as minor premiers.

Adelaide will be seeking revenge, after the Lions prevailed in last year’s Preliminary Final and also handed them the side its only loss of this season - a three-point defeat in Round Eight.

"Obviously Brisbane is an excellent team who have beaten us the past three occasions we have played them, so our team will need to be at its best to win this game,” Harper said.

“It promises to be a great game with many great match ups all over the ground.”

Adelaide plays Brisbane in the First Qualifying Final at Norwood Oval on Saturday, November 11, at 2.35pm.
